Photographs are little pieces of time we get to keep.
Hello, I'm Danielle.
I'm a Jesus-loving wife, mother of five, homeschool mom, and photographer—and I've been behind a camera for nearly 17 years.
My love for photography began with an old camera my husband brought home for me from a pawn shop. What started as a simple little camera quickly became a way for me to see the world differently. I fell in love with capturing the people I love, the beauty of ordinary places, little moments that might otherwise be forgotten, and all the little details in between.
Today, I photograph individuals, families, couples, businesses, events, and the beauty of everyday life throughout Northern Macomb, Northern Oakland, and Southern St. Clair counties.
My work is rooted in natural light, genuine connection, and authentic moments. I want your photographs to feel like you—not overly posed or manufactured, but full of personality, movement, emotion, and the little things that make your story yours.
I also have a deep love for fine art photography. Sometimes I pick up my camera simply to create—to photograph nature, beautiful places, quiet moments, and the things that catch my eye. Black and white photography holds a particularly special place in my heart. There is something timeless about stripping away the color and letting the emotion, light, and story speak for themselves.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually homeschooling my children, painting with watercolors, playing my violin, or enjoying the beautiful, sometimes wonderfully chaotic, everyday life of my family.
Photography is a part-time passion for me these days, so I take on a limited number of sessions and events each year. This allows me to be intentional about the work I create and the people I have the privilege of photographing.
If you're someone who values faith, family, genuine connection, and photographs that tell a story, I would love to hear from you.
I'm so glad you're here.
